IQ-EQ appoints new Group Chief Operating Officer

Investor services group IQ-EQ has appointed Joanna Macleod as its new Group Chief Operating Officer.

Macleod will lead IQ-EQ’s global operations across all 24 jurisdictions and will be responsible for ensuring that IQ-EQ has a sustainable, compliant and innovative operating platform in place to most effectively serve IQ-EQ’s expanding base of clients. In a year which has seen continued growth in the business including across the US and Asia, she will be driving the transformation required for further expansion.

Building on an exciting period for IQ-EQ, Macleod will deliver client service and work closely with IQ-EQ’s Chief Technology Officer, Chris Robinson, to deliver technology enablement across platforms, capabilities and client facing apps. Joanna’s role will also consist of leading the Risk & Compliance function across the business, to deliver a resilient risk management approach. 
A chartered accountant with an MBA from Canterbury University, New Zealand, Macleod has over 20 years’ experience delivering complex change in large global service organisations. She brings a wealth of expertise in service design, global shared service centres, digital transformation, and culture change winning awards for her customer service and service innovation leadership.
