White Oak launches ESG variant of best performing India UCITS Fund
White Oak Capital Partners (White Oak), a Singapore based investment management and advisory firm established by Prashant Khemka in June 2017, is launching an equity ESG sub-fund under its Dublin domiciled India Acorn ICAV.
The ESG Fund, a variant of another existing strategy managed by White Oak, was authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland as a UCITS pursuant to the UCITS regulations enacted in Ireland and is an Article 8 fund that promotes ESG and lays emphasis on sustainability.
Manoj Garg, Director – Investments at White Oak, says: “Since sustainability of returns and corporate governance are crucial to White Oak’s philosophy, Environment, Social, and Governance considerations are naturally integrated in our decision-making process. White Oak has been a signatory to The United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) since 2019 and this fund launch is a reiteration of our commitment to sustainable investing. The ESG Fund will look to invest in great businesses at attractive valuations, with industry leading environmental compliance practices, ethical business conduct and fair dealings with stakeholders.”
