PIMCO strengthens Swiss team

Fixed income investment manager PIMCO is further strengthening its Swiss team in Zurich with several new investment professional appointments.

Marc Schumacher has joined PIMCO’s Zurich-based Global Wealth Management team as Senior Vice President and Account Manager to work closely with Global Wealth Management clients, such as cantonal, regional and private banks and independent asset managers. Additionally, Robert Eugster has joined the Swiss Global Wealth Management team as Account Manager. Simone Torsello will support the team in an account associate role. PIMCO also strengthened the Zurich based institutional team with Diana Truong, who recently joined PIMCO as an Account Manager servicing institutional clients in Switzerland. Together with these new hires, the Swiss team now consists of 15 dedicated client servicing employees, which reflects the importance of Switzerland for PIMCO.

Patrick Beuret, Head of PIMCO Switzerland, says: "The continued expansion of the Swiss team is an important step to ensure we meet clients' demand for increasingly customised solutions coupled with first-class service quality. This investment also reflects our steady growth in Switzerland and the increasing complexity of the business.”

PIMCO has had a physical presence in Zurich since 2008 and has experienced sustained growth in Switzerland across its institutional and Global Wealth Management businesses ranging from traditional fixed income to private credit strategies.
