E-Valuator selects UMB Bank for mutual fund custody services

UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation, has been selected to provide custody services for E-Valuator’s mutual funds.

As custodian, UMB will provide E-Valuator with critical services, including trade settlement, straight-through securities processing, safekeeping and reporting.

E-Valuator has a family of six risk-managed strategy funds designed to help investors meet their investment goals. Each fund’s asset allocation is structured to optimise returns at varying levels of risk, offering investment options to investors based on their risk tolerance.

“We are pleased to partner with E-Valuator to provide mutual fund custody services,” says Amy Small, senior vice president, executive director of Institutional Custody at UMB Bank. “We look forward to supporting E-Valuator’s success by providing high-touch client service and investing in technology that will continually enhance our custody services.”

This announcement follows the recent enhancement of UMB Institutional Custody’s trading platform capabilities. By adding Broadridge’s Matrix Financial Solutions, and its affiliate companies (Matrix) trading platform to its offering, UMB allows clients to execute mutual fund trade orders from multiple platforms and access a wider range of mutual fund investment options.

“Having the ability to select underlying investments from an open architecture universe of investments is key to the success of The E-Valuator funds,” says Kevin Miller, chief investment officer, E-Valuator Funds. “This custodial arrangement with UMB and Broadridge’s Matrix Financial Solutions provides the most expansive platform of ETFs and mutual funds that we were able to find in the industry. The size, depth, and industry leading services these organisations bring to Fintech gives us the confidence that The E-Valuator funds are very well positioned to optimise performance for their shareholders well into the future.”

“Leveraging our leading technology, UMB’s clients will have access to a seamless experience which is helping their clients improve efficiencies and reduce costs,” says Cindy Dash, head of Broadridge’s Matrix Financial Solutions. “We’re pleased to expand on the value UMB extends to its clients and together help them grow their businesses in this challenging time.”

As one of the nation’s leading custodians, UMB Institutional Custody is a trusted partner to safeguard and service domestic and global assets. UMB provides high-touch client service and offers straight-through transaction processing, deep investments in technology, robust security designed to accommodate the data requirements of complex holdings, online portal capabilities, and cash management services to support clients’ needs.
