Artemis appoints new head of institutional business

After 15 years as head of Artemis Investments Management's GBP5.5 billion institutional business, Elaine Gordon has retired with Victoria Heffer succeeding her.

Heffer joined Artemis and Gordon's team from Capital Group in 2009 and has been responsible for Artemis’ relationships with institutional clients and consultants. She, as did Gordon, reports to Artemis’ Head of Distribution, Jasper Berens.

Gordon says: “It has been a great pleasure to spend 15 years with Artemis, concluding my career in investment management. I thank my colleagues and clients for their support over those years. I know that, in Victoria, I have left our institutional business in very capable hands.”
Berens adds: “We are delighted that Victoria has taken over Elaine’s role. Her experience and ability speak for themselves, and our institutional clients have every confidence in her. The institutional market, like fund management as a whole, is evolving. I am sure that Victoria, with the support of the whole distribution team at Artemis, will embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as we work together to grow both our intermediated and our institutional business.”
