Rosenthal Collins appoints head of strategic asset management

Rosenthal Collins Group (RCG) has appointed Cary W Musser as head of strategic asset management, a new role within the firm.

Musser (pictured) joined RCG this week with 30 years of investment and security lending experience, most recently at Wells Fargo Asset Management.

RCG executive vice president and chief financial officer Jason Manumaleuna says: "We are ecstatic to have someone of Cary's calibre and experience fill this important new role for us as we continue our long-term growth strategy. Starting a few years ago, RCG was the first futures brokerage and clearing firm to share on its website every day how it manages its customer segregated funds. This process and the transparency that we have put in place are at the heart of our bond with our clients; we know Cary is exactly the right professional to meet our standards of excellence on this front while helping to guide the investments of the firm's assets."

Musser says: "The tradition, reputation and risk-averse profile of RCG, along with the vision of its leadership, were instrumental in my decision to embrace this opportunity and be part of such a high-calibre team."
