M&A Property Investors hires Travis Callahan as chief executive officer
M&A Property Investors, the real estate and renewable energy unit of M&A Investors, has appointed Travis Callahan as chief executive officer, based in the firm's new offices in Geneva.
Callahan is a US qualified attorney with more than 16 years of legal and commercial experience. He has managed more than USD30bn of complex real estate, energy sector, capital markets, corporate and debt restructuring and distressed acquisition transactions throughout Central, Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Australia and the US.
Prior to joining M&A Property Investors, Callahan was the director of fund management of Assos Capital, a private equity fund manager specialising in real estate investments in Southeast Europe and Ukraine that was involved in the largest retail shopping centre development in Bulgaria.
Callahan practiced law in the US and Australia with the firms of Bingham McCutchen and Jones Day. His work included the representation of some of the world's largest fund managers, energy companies, institutional investors, hedge funds, Wall Street proprietary desks, financial services companies and multi-national corporations.
