Morningstar UK launches synthetic risk reward indicator calculation for Ucits funds

Morningstar UK, a subsidiary of Chicago-based Morningstar, Inc, has launched its calculation of the Synthetic Risk Reward Indicator (SRRI) for Ucits funds. The launch follows the European Union’s introduction of the Ucits IV regulations on 1 July that require all Ucits funds to provide a SRRI score as an integral component of the incoming Key Investor Information Document (KIID), which becomes obligatory between now and 1st July 2012. »

MF Global announces pricing of USD325m convertible senior notes

MF Global Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: MF), a broker-dealer providing trading and hedging solutions, has announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of USD325 million aggregate principal amount of 3.375% Convertible Senior Notes due 1 August, 2018. MF Global also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional USD45 million aggregate principal amount of convertible notes. The offering is expected to close on 2 August, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. »
