UBS Global Asset Management appoints head of global liquidity management, EMEA

UBS Global Asset Management has appointed James Finch as head of global liquidity management, EMEA.

Finch, who is based in London, is responsible for the development and expansion of UBS Global Asset Management's liquidity management business in EMEA.
He reports to Joe Abed, head of global liquidity management.
Finch has over 16 years of industry experience and was previously head of UK and fixed income business development at Source. Prior to this, he was head of distribution, EMEA, for the liquidity management businesses of JP Morgan Asset Management, Barclays Global Investors and Legal & General Investment Management.
He is a board member of the Institutional Money Market Funds Association (IMMFA).
Abed says: “We continue to expand our liquidity management business as, now more than ever, clients are looking for experienced, global liquidity partners to help efficiently manage their cash assets. We are delighted to welcome James as his exceptional track record in our industry and his experience will help us further assist clients in the management of their short-term liquidity requirements."
