PineBridge expands institutional business development team in the Americas

Multi-asset class investment manager PineBridge Investments has appointed four new senior professionals to its Americas business development team.

The appointments include Stephen Keep, senior vice president; Joe Fague, senior vice president; James J Smith, senior vice president; and Gene Guevara, vice president.
"We recognise the demand for sophisticated investment solutions from our firm and advisors," says Sergio Ramirez, managing director and head of business development – Americas. "To meet this challenge, we continue to focus our efforts on strategically developing a world-class team of seasoned and consultative advisors to cover key regions and channels in the US."
Keep will focus on institutional business development within the insurance market. He has more than 25 years of industry experience. He has previously served in institutional business development roles at Conning and Wellington Management, where he marketed a broad range of investment solutions to insurance companies.

Fague will focus on institutional business development on the West Coast. He has over 20 years of broad experience in institutional sales, consultant relations, DCIO and mutual fund platform sales. He previously spent 10 years at RS Investments, most recently serving as vice president of their institutional services group, responsible for direct sales to corporate, public fund and Taft-Hartley clients in the Western US. 

Smith will focus on institutional business development in the Midwest including Southern and Central US. He was previously director of Midwest institutional sales at MFS Investment Management, responsible for business development with corporate, public and endowment & foundation entities. Smith has over 15 years' experience in the financial services industry. 

Guevara will be responsible for further developing the growth of PineBridge's consultant-generated business. Guevara has more than 14 years' experience, and was previously a consultant relations manager at Loomis Sayles & Company.
