Martin Brookes joins Legal & General Capital as director of investment strategy
Martin Brookes has joined Legal & General Capital (LGC) as director of investment strategy.
He will be responsible for delivering investment strategies for the group’s GBP56bn principal balance sheet, including LGC’s GBP4.5bn asset base, whilst maintaining the solvency and liquidity requirements of the group.
Brookes (pictured) previously spent 27 years at the Prudential where for the last 14 years he was director of portfolio management in the Prudential (UK) portfolio management group. In this role he had asset allocation and manager oversight responsibility for approximately GBP80bn of multi asset funds including the with profit life funds, a range of pooled pension target return funds and multi asset collectives.
