Hastings grows North American office
Hastings Funds Management has appointed Irene Mavroyannis as executive director with responsibility for leading Hastings’ operations and business development activities in the US and Canada.
She will also join Hastings’ executive leadership team.
Hastings chief executive Andrew Day says: “Hastings has a history of investing in North America, having long recognised the importance of the North American market and the attractive opportunities it presents in the infrastructure sector. The appointment of Irene is a significant boost to our firm’s capability in the US and Canadian markets.”

Mavroyannis will be based in the firm’s New York office where she joins a team of investment specialists.
Prior to joining Hastings, Mavroyannis was a managing director, investor relations group, First Reserve Corporation based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Previously, she was a director with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts in New York where she was primarily focused on infrastructure and energy. She previously held the position of chief operating officer, KKR Capital Markets, New York and prior thereto was a director, equity capital markets at Citigroup Global Markets in New York.
