Henderson Global Investors appoints Daniela Brogt as head of sales Germany

Henderson Global Investors has appointed Daniela Brogt as head of sales, Germany with immediate effect.

She is assuming the position of Lars Albert who has left the company. In her new capacity she will be responsible for further development of sales activities in Germany.

Brogt (pictured) was last employed with Henderson as director of sales Germany and Austria. Prior to this she held executive sales positions in other companies including Gartmore, Aviva Investors, Lazard and JP Morgan Asset Management.

“Germany remains a key market for Henderson and so it is important that our distribution team is led by someone with strong strategic and sales skills. Since Daniela joined our company two years ago, following the Gartmore acquisition, she has proven to be a valuable and well respected member of the European team and is absolutely the right person to lead our ongoing efforts,” says Steven de Vries, head of European retail sales

In addition, Ariane Dehn takes on responsibility for distribution in Austria and becomes head of sales Germanic Switzerland and Austria. Before this she was head of sales for the German-speaking regions of Switzerland.

"Ariane has extensive experience in the Austrian market. Before she took charge of our Sales division in Switzerland she had already served our clients in Austria with great success. I'm certain that Ariane will be as successful in Austria as she has been for the last six years in Switzerland," says de Vries.
