Stock market indices up in September, says STOXX

Stock market indices in Europe, Asia, the US and globally were up in September, according to global index provider STOXX Limited.
For the month of August, the Asia, US and global markets were down -1.69%, -2.41% and -1.43%, respectively, while the European markets were up 0.68%.
Since US President Barack Obama’s inauguration on January 20, 2009, the STOXX USA Total Market Index, which covers approximately 95% of the free float market capitalisation of companies in the United States, has gained 71.67% until October 31, 2012; while the STOXX Global Total Market Index was up 58.92% over the same time-frame.
