Solar Capital has entered into an agreement to sell two million shares of the company’s common stock at USD22.51 per share in a direct registered offering to an institutional investor.

The gross proceeds of the offering were approximately USD45m.

Solar Capital invests primarily in leveraged, middle market companies in the form of senior secured loans, mezzanine loans, and equity securities.
