Heffernan Financial Services has hired Steve Epstein to join its San Francisco office as senior vice president, senior portfolio manager for Heffernan Investment Advisors, focusing on high net worth individuals, corporations and nonprofits.

Formerly a portfolio manager and principal for several major investment firms, Epstein brings over 15 years of experience in managing fixed income, equity and alternative asset portfolios to Heffernan. 

He is well versed in multiple aspects of the investment management business, including research, marketing, trading and operations, as well as developing business plans.
