Simon Clark joins ACPI as COO

Simon Clark has joined USD3bn asset management and wealth management firm ACPI as Chief Operating Officer.

Clark joins ACPI from Heartwood where he headed up the implementation of a more scalable business platform following the firm’s MBO in 2005. Prior to this, and following graduation from Newcastle University with an Engineering degree and qualification as a Chartered Accountant, he held a number of senior business support positions at RBS Financial Markets, Greenwich NatWest and Credit Suisse First Boston.

“Simon’s appointment is in line with our own vision to continue to expand the firm’s proven investment management and private wealth businesses," says Brett Lankester, CEO of ACPI. "ACPI has seen tremendous progress and expansion since our successful navigation through the 2008 financial crisis, and we look forward to adding Simon to the senior management team of ACPI to help develop the future vision of the firm.”

ACPI’s recently launched one of the first India Fixed Income Funds available to non-Indian domiciled investors – the Q ACPI India Fixed Income Fund. ACPI also manages the 5 Morningstar and Standard and Poors rated ACPI International Bond Fund, the 4 Morningstar and Standard and Poors rated ACPI Global Fixed Income Fund and their ACPI Global Equity UCITS Fund, also Standard and Poors rated which was selected by Portfolio Adviser magazine’s PA Quality Funds – Blue-chip funds for investment advisers this month.
