Scout Investment Advisors hires chief executive officer

Scout Investment Advisors, a wholly owned subsidiary of UMB Financial, has appointed Andrew Iseman as chief executive officer.

Iseman will be responsible for leading all facets of Scout Investment Advisors including the setting of overall strategic direction, investment management, sales and distribution, client services, operations and compliance.

"Andy is a proven, successful leader in the investment management industry. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that will prove very beneficial to Scout. We will be relying on Andy to help us accelerate the growth of Scout over the coming years," says Peter deSilva, president and chief operating officer, UMB Financial.

Iseman has more than 23 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. In his previous role, Iseman served as chief operating officer for RK Capital Management in Denver.

Prior to that, he served as chief operating officer for Janus Capital Group and in other significant leadership positions for numerous Janus subsidiaries.
