Tokio Marine appoints Paul Butler as compliance manager in London
Tokio Marine Asset Management London, the Japanese and Asian equities and hedge fund specialist, has appointed Paul Butler as compliance manager.
In this newly-created role, Butler will assist the compliance officer in providing effective compliance advice and monitoring, working closely with the business units to identify compliance risks and develop appropriate solutions to mitigate it.
Butler has over 11 years of experience in working in the financial markets with a particular knowledge of alternative investments and hedge funds.
Prior to joining TMAL, he was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for almost ten years progressing to senior executive director in the compliance team for the alternatives group. Prior to this, Butler worked as a systems support analyst at firms including ABN Amro and ING-Barings.
